- fixed the links page, the page footer wasn't visible there.
- changed the layout of the navigation bars. i have long thought that they are becoming too large.
- shortened the page labels shown in the navigation bars.
- shut down the povray render server page because this project has been on hold for too long.
- shut down the image index page as well. it served no particular purpose anyway.

it's about time i set up a test site again. developing onsite sometimes leads to strange results - and to bad user experience.

| 20020130 | yesterday, i have learned a lesson about ssi (server side includes).
it seems obvious to me now that enabling ssi on any (s)html document causes the web server to create and work with a temporary copy of that page. it thus loses some properties of the original; like, say, the file date.- gee, i re-renamed all those .shtml extensions back to .html again; now the last modification date[, were it still] displayed at the bottom of every page [would be] correct again.
- btw, i still want to upload more movie stuff. -- as soon as i get divx to work together with adobe premiere 6. ;D
